Nahitathe founder

Hi! I am a nineteen year old girl, dedicated to contributing to a more sustainable world. And it is in that exact ideal that I created Lars Fashion.
I took on this journey at the age of eighteen during my last year of high-school. The seed had already been sown two years prior as I discovered the beautiful Atelier on the French countryside which today is producing for Lars. The occasion was quite unexpected: I only happened to visit Les Cévennes because I was following my father on his tour as he is a musician. And I have never believed in coincidence, so I took it as a sign. But since I was barely sixteen by that time, I quickly dismissed the idea after realizing it wasn't realistic for me to start a clothing brand, just yet.
The spark got revived at a first date with the mentor I had been paired with through a mentorship program offered by my school. She held such an innate confidence in me and my project, that it became so evident for me that it was the right path for me to go.
And so I started developing my concept, building everything from scratch. Due to my humble budget, I had to learn many new skills and do it all myself: all the paperwork of starting a company, designing a collection, handling the logistics and accountings, building this very website etc. But I couldn't have made it without the help and support of my surrounding. Amongst them my mentor Annelie, the young artist that helped me adapt my grandfathers signature into a logo, David the head of the organisation HETCH that believed in my project, and so many others.

"Every child is an artist, the problem is how to remain an artist once they grow up." - Pablo Picasso

The handsome man on this picture is Lars Forsberg, my grandfather. Professionally a doctor, but an artists by soul. He lived a long and beautiful life during which he spread a lot of love and joy, but also a lot of awareness regarding mental health. He showed compassion and sensibility to every single person he met - he was really one of a kind.
His love for the nature and its' beauty remains unmatched. He held the unique capacity of observing and finding a very simple and still immense joy in just contemplating the world.
